Updating my jailbroken iphone

06 Jan

It’s hard to predict whether or not anyone is actually even working on anything at all, and most of the demos we’ve seen recently will never see the public because they are using methods the hackers don’t want to share right now.

Since there’s no real indication of any jailbreak for later iterations of i OS 9, or even for i OS 10 for that matter, it’s very much a 50/50 gamble to choose between upgrading to i OS 10 or staying put.

[Meta] Please for The Love of God, just stay where you are check your blobs prepare everything, and wait until 10.2.1-10.3.1 or whatever version of jailbreak released.

Tai G provides an i OS 8.4 and 8.3 untethered jailbreak.

Or will I retain them and just lose the jail break ?

Any i OS device compatible with i OS 8.1.1 can be updated.

We all know that the purpose of jailbreaking your i Device is always to be able to get access, download and install apps on your i Device without restrictions, especially apps that are not available in Apple store.

However, after jailbreaking your i OS device, it also means you may lose the chance to freely update the operating system, that is mainly because most of the modern jailbreaks like Tai G do not work well with OTA updates.

Unfortunately, those who are on a later i OS firmware have no jailbreak, and there doesn’t appear to be any indication of a jailbreak tool launch before i OS 10.

With that being said, the most likely candidate for a jailbreak at this point in time is not i OS 9.3, but rather i OS 10.
