Javascript validating on paste textbox

the problem is that i let users dynamically add more inputs, so i need the live method.

is there a way to make this work with live other than hacking together a solution involving hidden inputs?

Sometimes situations arise (input a phone number, zip code or credit card number) when the user should fill a single or more than one fields with numbers (0-9) in an HTML form.

You can write Java Script scripts to check the following validations.

I've got this to work in FF using the code below, but it doesn't work in IE (I don't think IE supports the "paste" event).

Anyone know how to make this work across all modern browsers?

Using a bit of Java Script it is possible to prevent most users from copying text from one textbox and pasting it into another, thereby requiring the user to type their email address into both textboxes. NET, Java Script code is typically event-driven, meaning that certain blocks of Java Script execute in response to particular events.Im sorry but I dont know exaclty how to implement JS function...I tried your second option and It can disable paste option... I only want to prevent character in my textbox If you simply need non editable kendo Combo Box(), you could use kendo Drop Down List() instead. In fact, you may have seen registration pages that do just this. However, when I encounter such a registration page I usually avoid entering the email address twice, but instead enter it once and then copy and paste it from the first textbox into the second.
